On Thursday 22 September, 2022, two episodes from Eric Sweeney's Ulysses: An Opera were performed at Simffoni Mara evening. The evening was a celebration in music and words, of the connectedness between Wales and Ireland, to close out the On Land's Edge Festival in Fishguard, Wales. Episodes Nausikaa and Penelope were performed by Matthew Bale (Piano), Lorna Osbon (Violin) and Jenni Harper (Soprano).
